| Helpful Programs These programs are installed onto your computer's hard drive after we fix it. If you happen to lose the program or it goes bad (for some odd reason), you can download it here. All these programs are free for personal use.
1.Avast! Anti-Virus Software
This is the software I trust with all of my machines and I recommend it to my entire family. Avast! has the most reliable automatic updater available. It even can give you an audible notification each time the virus definitions have been updated! It can't get any easier

2.AVG Anti-Spyware This program will scan your computer for spyware, adware, and other bad things that slow your computer down and let hackers know exactly what you are doing! If it finds any of these things it will delete them from your computer and let you be and feel safe once again. The only downside to this program is the free version does not offer real-time monitoring of the entire system. 3.K9 Web Protection K9 Web Protection is a free Internet filtering and control solution for the home. K9 puts YOU in control of the Internet so you can protect your kids. 4.Opera 9.10 This is a browser. Windows comes with Internet Explorer, but that has many security flaws. With Opera spyware and pop-ups are gone and the password manager is awesome! This is the safest browser you can get. 5.Open Office.org OpenOffice.org is just like Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. OpenOffice.org also includes a few other very helpful programs to help get the job done. If you don't have the hundreds of dollars to spend on that new, unstable version of Microsoft Word then OpenOffice is perfect! It is free and takes only minutes to download and install. | |
